Roadmap

An honest roadmap.

What works in the product today, and what is being built and measured next. We label the future as future.

Built vs in development

Where the product stands

Being clear about the gaps is deliberate - measured accuracy is an objective we are working towards, not a claim we make.

Built today

Working in the product now

  • Live satellite fire mapping (NASA FIRMS + Digital Earth Australia)
  • Per-asset risk and estimated time-to-impact
  • Physics-based wind-direction spread projection (McArthur), with optional terrain-aware wind
  • Configurable alerting to the people responsible for an asset
  • Organisations with role-based access
  • Offline map access for saved areas
In development

Being built and measured next

  • A decisive, forecast-integrated spread prediction with an honest reliability gradient - in development, shown in-app as a clearly-labelled preview (not yet accuracy-measured)
  • An emergency-services time view for incident planning - in development, role-restricted preview
  • Measured predictive accuracy - backtesting spread against real fire events (this is what will move the prediction from 'in development' to measured)
  • Fuel-type and per-state spread models for forest and shrubland
  • Near-real-time fire-growth tracking from the geostationary satellite feed
  • Terrain-resolved wind at national scale
  • A community-intelligence layer, developed with emergency-services partners
  • A learning layer that refines spread prediction from historical fires

Method & maturity. Spread modelling is physics-based (McArthur), strongest for grassland; forest and shrubland fuel-type models are being refined, and predictive accuracy is being measured rather than claimed. Fire Path AI is designed to support official decision-making, not replace it.

Why we show this

Transparency is the point

A life-safety tool used by government and enterprise should be honest about its maturity. So we separate what is built today from what is in development - including the work to measure predictive accuracy by backtesting modelled spread against real fire events. Validation and measurement are objectives on this roadmap, not results we claim.
